The Eko Atlantic City Physical Planning Portal was created to make the building permit process simpler, faster, and more transparent for developers, property owners, and project representatives. Instead of relying on manual paperwork and in-person submissions, the portal provides a centralized digital platform where users can submit project details, upload required documents, and track the progress of their applications.

This guide provides a step by step overview of how to navigate the portal and begin applying for building permits.

Getting Started

Before using the portal, you should already have purchased a plot from Eko Atlantic Sales and be preparing to begin development on that plot. The first step is to register your project and client information through the onboarding process.

To begin, navigate to:

https://physicalplanning.eacml.com/accounts/onboarding/

The onboarding page contains a form designed to capture all the essential information required to create your project profile within the system. The form collects details such as the client information, project information relating to the development, and contact information for communication and updates.

During this process, you will also have the option to add a client representative. This could be a consultant, project manager, architect, or any authorized individual who will assist in managing or monitoring the progress of your applications on the portal. This feature ensures that multiple stakeholders involved in the project can stay informed throughout the approval process.

Once the onboarding form has been completed and submitted, the information will be sent to the EACML technical team for review. At this stage, you will not yet be able to sign in to the portal until the onboarding review has been completed.

Review and Feedback from the Technical Team

After your submission has been received, the EACML technical team will review the information provided to ensure that all the necessary details have been correctly submitted. This review process typically takes up to 48 hours.

During the review, the team confirms that the client information is complete, the project details correspond with the development records, and that all required onboarding information has been properly provided.

Once the review has been completed, you will receive an email notification with the outcome. If everything is in order, the email will include instructions on the next steps, including how to sign into the portal and access your project.

If there are any issues with the submission, the email will clearly indicate what needs to be corrected. You will then be able to update the information and resubmit it for review.

This step ensures that all project records within the portal are accurate before the permit application process begins.

Navigating the Portal and Managing Your Projects

Once your onboarding submission has been approved, you will be able to sign into the Physical Planning Portal and access the dashboard.

At this stage, it is recommended that you take some time to familiarize yourself with the environment. The portal is designed to be intuitive and user friendly, so you can explore the available features without worrying about affecting your project data.

To view your projects, navigate to:

Projects > My Projects

Within this section, you will be able to see all projects associated with your account. If you are developing multiple plots, you can also add additional projects here.

Each project page acts as a central location where all documentation, submissions, and approvals relating to that development will be managed.

Uploading Files and Applying for Building Permits

To begin applying for building permits, open the relevant project within the My Projects section.

Inside the project page, you will see an option labeled Upload Files. This feature allows you to submit the necessary documentation required for the building permit review process.

Typical submissions may include architectural drawings, engineering plans, and other supporting technical documentation required by the Physical Planning team.

Once your files are uploaded, the system records the submission and sends the documents to the appropriate review teams. You will then be able to track the status of your application directly through the portal as it progresses through the review process.

The Physical Planning Portal was designed to make the permit application process more organized and efficient, helping developers and project teams manage their submissions in a structured and transparent way.
